In loving memory of Jody Lee Rusk.
Jody was born May 11th, 1976, at the Holy Family Hospital in Prince Albert, SK. Sadly, Jody passed away January 7th, 2023, at the age of 46 in Prince Albert, SK. Jody is survived by and will be dearly missed by his partner of 14 years, Eileen Robillard; his daughter Melaina Sutherland of Saskatoon, SK, his mother Valerie Rusk of Shellbrook; his sister Alia (Shaun) Warkentin of Prince Albert; his nephew Mitchel Warkentin of Prince Albert; and his niece Mikayla Warkentin of Prince Albert SK; numerous aunties, uncles, cousins as well as other relatives and friends.
Jody was predeceased by his Grandma Lois Ferguson; his Grandpa Irwin Rusk; and a family friend George Finch.
Jody was very proud when he received his G.E.D. He then went on to receive his Chefs papers from Siast. He simply enjoyed cooking for family and friends.
Jody loved the outdoors, he especially loved fishing, camping, and gardening. Often, he would ask his sister if she had a garden, and he couldn’t understand why she would tell him no. He had the biggest green thumb and figured everyone else did as well.
Jody had a love for music, not just for one genre but many. Often, he was kept busy singing and stumming away on his guitar.
There are so many special memories of Jody that his family will hold dear in their hearts. Jody, you will be forever loved and missed.
On Thursday January 12th, 2023, there was a private family gathering where we celebrated Jody’s life.
