Obituary of Douglas Warren Gilmour
DOUGLAS WARREN GILMOUR
November 7, 1950 – January 15, 2023
Peacefully and surrounded by his family, Doug passed away on January 15th, 2023, at the age of 72 years. Doug will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Rachel Olsen (Jorge Felton), grandchildren Bruno and Sienna Felton, brother Murray Gilmour (Terry Gilmour), brother Robert Gilmour, nephew Christopher Gilmour (Janel Gilmour). Doug was predeceased by his parents, Alden and Hilda Gilmour, and brother, Dale Gilmour. Doug spent 30 years working at the Prince Albert Corrections Centre, before retiring in 2014. He was an avid reader, and collector of many things. He enjoyed getting together with his friends for coffee, spending time with his dog Pancho, and visiting with his daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren in Mexico. Doug was an outdoor enthusiast and loved to spend time at Emma Lake sitting out on the deck, taking photos of the sunsets, and going for turkey dinner on Sundays at the Lake Country Cottage. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 23, 2023, at Beau “Lac” Funeral Home Chapel, 300B 300 Marquis Road, Prince Albert, SK. Interment will follow at South Hill Cemetery.
