Obituary of Rene Hubert Lehouillier

The family of Rene Lehouillier wish to announce his passing on Dec. 21st, 2009, at the Whispering Pines Place in Canwood, Sk. Rene will always be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, his ability to make people feel at home in his presence, his work with the Morin Lake Regional park and his love of camping. Rene's last few years with us were tough on him, with failing health he seemed to lose his will to live. His journey has reached its destination and we know that the last leg of his journey will lead him to the family and friends that have gone before him. Safe travels Pepere, we love you and we'll miss you. Rene is lovingly remembered by his children; Evette (Ed) Bailey of Debden, Sk., Denise Niegum (Tony) of Innisfail, AB, Marcel (Deb) Lehouillier of Red Deer, AB, Marie (Ron) Lehman of St. Albert, AB, Linda (Phil) Parenteau of Prince Albert, Sk., Denis (Butch) Lehouillier of Debden, Sk.; 16 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. A daughter-in-law Pauline Lehouillier of Battleford, and a son-in-law Ivan Beaulac of Debden, Sk.. Numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by: His loving wife Germaine Frechette; a daughter Claire Beaulac; a son Dominique Lehouillier; his parents: Alfred and Augustine Lehouillier; his brothers: Gerard, Bruno, Laurier, Germain and Bertrand and his in-laws: Wilfred and Adelina Frechette. The prayers were held on Dec. 27th, 2009, at 7:30 pm and the funeral on Dec. 28th, 2009, at 3:00 pm at St. Jean Baptiste Church in Debden, Sk. with Fr. Bernabe Millan as celebrant and Fr.Yves Marchildon as co-celebrant. Rene's remains will be laid to rest in the Debden Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rene's memory may be made to Whispering Pine Place in Canwood, Sk.
