Obituary of Mary Kulyk

 

Kulyk: Mary (Rodwin ) of Blaine Lake, SK. Passed away peacefully at the age of 101 years in Shellbrook Hospital on February 2, 2023. She was born November 2, 1921 in the Dodsland area to Polly and Peter Rodwin.  In later years moved to the Moon Hills area with schooling at Paddling Lake School.  Mary and five siblings schooled there in a one room school. 

In much later years she married Michael Kulyk and moved to various places, then settled in Blaine Lake, SK. Mary was self employed as a hairdresser in her home for many years and other numerous jobs.

Her hobbies were gardening, which was big, her flowers in the yard, cooking cards, softball, travelling and having company over and visiting with family and friends, especially grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Then in May, 1986 her husband passed away and she kept busy at home as she did not drive.

She is survived by:

Her 2 daughters Sharon Turner ( Terry)

Charlotte Hubbard (Don)

Her grandaughters Melissa Dawn Hubbard( Wade) and Trisha June Menke(Jaymin)

Her Great Grandchildren:Maxamus Wade Stevenson, Andrew Connor Menke ,Sophia Mary Menke, 

Survived by one sister: Jean Zadorozny of Laird

And numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Predeceased by her husband Michael

Parents:  Polly and Peter Rodwin

2 sisters- Anne Troobitscoff and Helen Bazarkiewicz

2 brothers Bob Rodwin and Bill Rodwin
