Obituary of Alain Adrian April

Alain was born on May 8, 1952.  Alain grew up on a farm five kms north of Zenon Park.  He attended grades one through eight at school in Zenon Park.  In 1967, the family moved to Prince Albert, and he completed his schooling at St. Mary High School.  Alain was a humble man who had many health challenges throughout his adult years, but would never complain of his pain or situation.  He had a great sense of humor, usually laughing at himself.  He liked mechanics, which led him to a trucking job working with the Department of Highways.  He eventually bought his own truck and started hauling construction wood products to the United States and hauled back drilling pipes for the oil fields in Alberta.  After Alain retired, he and his family continued to live on an acreage north of Prince Albert.

Alain is survived by his wife of 47 years, Yvonne (nee Chenier);  his daughter, Jacqueline April and her children, Nicholas, Christopher, Madison; his daughter, Diane April;  his siblings, Rene (Josie), Marie (Al), Roger (Jocelyn), Claude, Luc (Estelle) and Nil (Janice); his in-laws, Leon Chenier, Elise (Adrien), Yvette Lavoie, Adrien (Arlene), Raymond (Janet) as well as numerous nephews and nieces.
