Dale Tuba

Obituary of Dale Wayne Tuba

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dale Wayne Tuba.

Dale was born in Swift Current, SK and moved to Prince Albert at the age of 20, where he met his wife, Linda.  Dale and Linda were married on January 18, 1975.  They stayed in Prince Albert and had two children, Christine and Shawn.  Dale managed the Cinema IV Theatre along with his brother John for 33 years.  Many wonderful memories were made during this time.  Dale and John were known to pull many pranks on the staff, everyone who worked there has a story to tell.   Dale and Linda purchased a cabin at Candle Lake in 1985 and spent many years enjoying the lake life, and eventually retiring there.  They were married for 34 years before Linda’s passing.  Anyone who knew Dale knew he could not sit still.  He came out of retirement and worked at the Candle Lake golf course for a few years then went on to work for SaskParks, where many close friendships were made.  Dale was most proud when he became a grandpa to Aidyn and Cody.  He loved hanging out at “Grandpa’s Beach” with them, playing catch in the water and making s’mores at the firepit.  He was a friend to many and always had a smile on his face.  He could be seen walking, driving, and boating around Candle Lake along with his sidekick Rocky.

Dale is survived by his daughter, Christine (Jason) grandchildren, Aidyn and Cody; brother, John; nephews, Dean, Joel and Jimmy; niece, Corrinne; mother-in-law, Monica; sister-in-law, Lorna (Larry).

Dale was predeceased by his wife, Linda; son, Shawn; mother, Vera and father, John; sister-in-law, Darlene; father-in-law, Joe.

In keeping with Dale's wishes no service will be held. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations may be directed to Canadian Mental Health Association, 1301 Ave P North, Saskatoon, SK, S7L 2X1.   Family and friends wishing to send online condolences are welcome to visit www.beaulacfuneralhome.com.
