Obituary of Ronald Charles Logan

The family of Ronald Logan is deeply saddened to share the news of his passing on March 31, 2023, at the age of 75 years at Whispering Pine Place in Canwood, SK. 

Ron was born in Outlook, SK on  April 18, 1947, where he grew up. Ron loved skating, curling and baseball.  He was a hard-working kid and belonged to the 4-H Club.  In 1970 he married the love of his life, Noreen and they soon moved to Vernon, BC.  Ron was proud of his work at the Northern Okanagan Creamery Association.  The Okanagan always held a special place in his heart.  Ron and Noreen moved to Calgary, AB where Ron took up a position as building operator at Bow Valley Square.  He was a beloved member of the BVS team and still has close friends from this time.  Ron took pride in his work with AEDARSA and at BVS.  In 1985 Ron and Noreen welcomed their daughter Nancy to the family.  Ron was an avid hockey fan, and his favorite player was always Gretzky. He became a softball coach and instructor which impacted the lives of many developing athletes.  In his retirement years he enjoyed golfing, gardening, and walking his dogs, Evee and Izzy.

Ron was predeceased by his wife, Noreen and his beloved dog Evee.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Nancy and partner Kyle Cossette; sister, Charlene (Dave) Goodwin, their daughter Stacey and her son Jake;  son, Geoff (Meagan) Goodwin and their daughters, Willa and Hazel.  He will be dearly missed by his close friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, April, 6th, 2023 at 2:00 p.m., at the Calvary United Church, 114 – 25th St E. Prince Albert, SK.  A special thanks to the staff at Whispering Pine Place for their kindness and care during Ron’s illness
