Obituary of Maurice Cote

Cote - Maurice It is with great sadness that the family of Maurice Cote announce his sudden passing on February 12th, 2010 at the age 54 years in Spiritwood, Saskatchewan. Maurice was born and raised in Spiritwood. He worked for Applied Hydraulics in Winnipeg from 1974-1980, then returned to the family farm. He loved to hunt and fish and loved to compete with his mom to grow a bigger and better garden. He enjoyed the company of good friends and family and enjoyed a good laugh. His son Cole was his pride and joy. Maurice leaves to cherish his memory: his son Cole Cote; his mother Georgette Cote; his sisters and brothers: Lorraine (Barry) Warbis; Linda Seale; Harry (Terra) Cote; Neil Cote (Margo). His nieces and nephews: Carrie Seale, Trevor & Tina Warbis, Kristin & Justin Cote, Vanessa, Lane and Michelle Cote. A great nephew Taylor Williams. As well as numerous aunts, uncles and friends. He was predeceased by his father Alain Cote, a brother in law Chris Seale; his grandparents: Omer & Bernadette Compagna and Harry & Gertrude Cote. The Prayer Service was held on Friday, February 19th, 2010 at 7:00 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Francis Agbezuge on Saturday, February 20th, 2010 at 1:00 pm from the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Spiritwood. Eulogy will be given by Cole & Neil Cote. The Honorary Pallbearers are his nieces and nephews: Carrie Seale, Trevor Warbis, and Tina Warbis. Kristin Cote, Justin Cote and Vanessa Cote. The urn bearer will be Cole Cote. Maurice was laid to rest in the Spiritwood Cemetery. Memorial Donations in memory of Maurice may be made to the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
