Obituary of Rodney Herbel

Rodney Stewart Herbel We are very saddened with the sudden passing of Rodney Herbel on February 28, 2010. Rodney was born on February 26, 1966 in Spiritwood, SK to Roy & Betty Herbel. Rodney will be sadly missed and leaves to cherish his memory his Daughter Shelby (Josh), Sister Lynn Herbel, her Son Aaron and Grandson Damon of North Battleford; Sister Stephanie (Brent) Wintringham & their Daughter Mikela of Saskatoon; Brother Randy (Cindy) Herbel and their children Clayton (Jamie), Megan (Josh) of Saskatoon. He was predeceased by his brother David Herbel, Father Roy Herbel, Mother Betty Herbal, Son Alex Herbel, and nephew Taylor Herbel. Rodney attended school in Spiritwood. He moved to Saskatoon and worked at various labour jobs, hiked, fishing, played pool and joined Kaiser tournaments with family and friends. Rodney had a heart of gold and would do anything for you. The funeral service will be held Saturday March 6th in Spiritwood, SK from the Civic Centre at 1:00 pm with Pastor Leigh Sinclair officiating.
