Obituary of Marie Felicie Watson

Marie Felicie "Phyllis" Watson Phyllis (nee: Ouellette) was born in Rosthern, SK April 28, 1938 and passed away March 3, 2010 in the Spiritwood & District Health Complex at the age of 71 years after a battle with lung cancer. She is predeceased by her parents Magloire and Henriette Ouellette; all her siblings and their spouses, including sisters-in-law - Frank (Ethel), Louie (Lill), Leo, and Oliver; sisters Grace, Idolina, Alma and brother-in-law Wently Pfliger, and great granddaughter Syean May. Phyllis is survived by her husband, Gerald Watson; daughters Leona (Robert) Page and Millicent (Jason) Hodl; granddaughters Ann-Marie, Bobby-Jo and Michelle Ouellette; great-grandsons Joel Belhumeur, Megale, Styles, Quest and Edan Ouellette; nephew John and nieces Rose, Glenda and Jackie. She is also survived by brother-in-laws Mervin (Kathy), Joseph, and Jack Watson; sister-in-laws Betty Ann & Elenore (Bill Forsyth); and sons and daughters of Gerald's extended family of Louis and Laurette Denis. Phyllis joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in August 1956 and served as a Leading Aircraftwoman until she was honorably discharged in August 1959. Phyllis married Gerald Watson in May of 1977 and they resided in Leoville for 32 years. She was a loving and caring person and everyone knew her as "Aunty Phyllis". The prayer service will be said Sunday Mar. 7, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. from the St. Therese RC Church in Leoville, Sask. and the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday Mar. 8, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. from the St. Therese RC Church in Leoville, Sask. The interment will take place at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Saskatoon at 3:00 p.m. Monday Mar. 8.
