My condolences to Janet's family. I worked with Janet from when she started at CKBI-TV til I left in 2019. Besides being co-workers and friends, we were neighbours. We would often hear the laughter coming from their backyard as she & Raymond entertained family & friends. At the station, she covered just about every front office duty, from accounting, switchboard and eventually station manager. She greeted every new employee (and there were hundreds over the years) and helped them settle into the station routine. She made sure that birthdays and station anniversaries were recognized with cake and that all departments got together to mark the occasion. She was the TV station's archivist making sure that photos, whether prints or digital, taken over the years, were preserved. She was involved in all the social events the staff did and loved the golf tournaments. CTV was a starter station for many reporters and she always loved hearing updates about their careers as they moved across Canada. May the great memories of time & adventures with Janet comfort her family & friends now and forever. Gord Barnett
