Obituary of Ron Scott

Ronald Alexander Scott was born February 1, 1932, Hafford, SK and passed away October 1, 2023, Battleford, SK at the age of 91 years.

Ron is lovingly remembered by: His children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren: Donald (Shelley) of Lloydminster, AB, and family: Trent (Mariah) - Kaden and Keegan, Renee (Kris) - Gabrielle and Emersyn, Edward (Rosalie) of Winnipeg, MB, and family: Carmen (Mike), Riley, Craig (Claire), Shaun (Wynnona) – Mira and Lindsey.  Melvin (Bonnie) of Whitecourt, AB, Keith of North Battleford, SK, Brenda (Mervin) Chudy of Mayfair, SK, and family: Kary, Tanya (Calvin) - Emberly, Hayden, Maverick, Amanda (Brad) - Chasen, Neillie, Christopher, Kelsi (Ryan), Carla (Ted) Adamus of St. Albert, AB, and family: Chanda (Adam) - Isabella, Presley, and Brayden.  His siblings: Melfort of Surrey, BC, Clifford (Delores) of Bentley, AB, Alexander (Helen) of North Battleford, SK, Raymond (Jeanette) of Leduc, AB, Connie Chomyshey of Edmonton, AB, his sister-in-law: Dorothy Scott, his brother-in-law: Dave Plummer and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was predeceased by his loving parents: Donald and Addie Scott, his brother: Gordon, his sisters: Fay, Barbara, and Lorraine, his brother-in-law: Raymond Chomyshen.

A funeral service was held Saturday, October 7, 2023, 2:00 pm at the Pioneer Centre, Spiritwood, SK with Delores Beaulac officiating.  The eulogy was given by Connie Chomyshen, honorary pallbearers were considered “All who knew and loved Ron”, active pallbearers were Ron’s children: Donald Scott, Edward Scott, Melvin Scott, Keith Scott, Brenda Chudy and Carla Adamus. 

Ron’s final resting place is in the Spiritwood Cemetery.
