Edward Eldon Henry
Edward Eldon Henry, beloved husband of Lena Henry, late of Prince Albert, SK, passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospital, Prince Albert, SK, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Archerwill, SK, on January 11, 1935, Edward was 88 years old.
Edward leaves to mourn his loving wife, Lena; children, Brenda (Derek), Darren, Billy; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Maurice; sister, Alvina; and numerous nieces and nephews, whom all he loved.
Edward was predeceased by his father, Alexander; mother, Anne; twelve of his brothers and sisters; and his sons, Ed. Jr., Delbert, Dale, and Kenny.
Ed’s passion was fishing, he was also a great hunter. He had many friends and could make conversation with anyone. Ed served in the Army, he was a first-class marksman and earned his cross rifles at the young age of 16. Ed also marched for King George. He was extremely proud of his time served in the Army. Ed also had the pleasure of singing and playing back up guitar for Hank Snow while singing in the Armed Forces.
