Dolores is survived by her sons, Irwin (Karyle) and Daniel (Jackie); brother, Jim; sisters, Phylis, Marie, Grace and Jean; son-in-law, Raymond (Janet); grandchildren; Keegan, Gabriel, Ryan, Kirsten, Jennifer, Kristen and Jonathan; and great-grandchildren; Kitana, Jax, Cyrax and Raiden

Dolores was born in Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan on June 19, 1934 to Philip and Susan Winter (nee Dennis). She lived her life by the motto that "happiness is being part of a big family!". Given that she grew up in a household with 16 brothers and sisters she had a lot of opportunities for happiness. Dolores met Albert while she was working as a legal secretary in Prince Albert. They were married in 1957 and enjoyed 60 years of married life together before Albert's passing on December 9, 2017. Dolores was at her best when she was surrounded by loved ones, whether they be family, her many friends or the friends of her children and later her grandchildren. She always had an open door and room at the table for anyone who chose to join the family for coffee or a meal. She was a generous soul who always had an encouraging word for you when you needed it and was able to see the good in everyone she met. Life was not always easy for her and Albert and Albert's brother Heinz on the farm, but they always made the most of what they had, relying on their strong faith to create a wonderful and joyful life for their family and they shared that with all those who had the pleasure to know them. Dolores's final years were more difficult from a health perspective, but she was able to live independently until her last few weeks and never lost her positive attitude or her joy in seeing her loved ones right to her last moments. She passed away with family at her side in the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert on December 9, 2023, at the age of 89. Dolores will be deeply missed by all those privileged to have known and loved her.
