Throughout our lives we may be fortunate enough to meet someone who actually stands out from the rest, helps to shape the lives of others and becomes a mentor, helping others become better. Bill, you are and will continue to be that individual, even in heaven. I had just turned 50 and thought I knew everything, but then along came straight-talking Bill. You always said it the way it was. You taught me things about the forestry industry that helped me grow my business. I never said thanks, but I have always appreciated your help; I was going to say patience, but no I can’t say that. Ha ha, anyway buddy, thanks for everything.
PS: Buddy, now I am really sorry that I got busy and had to miss our lunch meeting at Montana’s a couple weeks back, however you did call me and let me know that it was my turn to buy dinner the next time you are in PA and that you are having a Montana steak. Well, Bill, the next time we meet, the good Lord willing it will be in heaven and yes, it’s Vermette’s turn to buy. Until we meet again, my friend.
