I am sorry for my late message but I just found out about Herb’s death. I have known Herb for about 20 years and always enjoyed our chats when we met up. There was a table at Tim Horton’s that we both claimed and we always had a laugh as we debated possession of it. My condolences to his family.

My sincerest condolences Herbs family and to the many that Herb made feel important to him. I met Herb 15 years ago and his generosity and kindness to many was evident. Herb always saw the best in everyone. I was fortunate to have lunch with him a few more times just before he was too ill to travel about. Loved his great adventure stories loved that Herb never said no to food. Thank you Herb for the many great conversations you will be missed.

Herb was truly one of a kind, and his passing leaves a void that will be felt by many. He found great joy in volunteering and had a special love for golfing.
Known for his exceptional generosity, Herb dedicated himself to helping those less fortunate even during his travels around the world. While others were on the beach lounging or sightseeing, Herb could be found in local communities, making friends, and sharing gifts he brought to give to those less fortunate. His passion extended to volunteering, where he devoted time to teaching Judo to those wanting to learn. He loved sharing these stories when he would return home.
One of Herb's proudest moments was being inducted into the Prince Albert Hall of Fame. To see the interview and write up, you can visit the links below:

Condolences to Herbs family. I met Herb a while back when he came to help with the sturgeon Lake junior golf league at spruce home. He was great with the kids always helping and bringing out prizes for tournaments. And he always had a minute to stop and talk when I'd run into him in pa. A great guy.

If you could, please pass along a message to Herb Goldhawk family. I've known Herb since I was 15 years old... now just turned 50. We had a many coffee breaks at the Country Kitchen restaurant (I worked there in my teens). We laughed, joked, and often discussed world travel. Herb introduced me to golf, repairs of his many cars and motorcycles (scooters). He would come out to little Red River Park and toboggan the hills!!! Awesome person! My deepest condolences to family.... He will be missed....My number: 403-715-4916 Thank you Marco

Our sincere condolences to the family of Herb Goldhawk. Herb was our neighbour and I have had the pleasure of making countless leaves of banana bread for him. It was his favourite. He will be truly missed. Rest in peace Herb — Lori and Owen Couillonneur.

Herb was my cousin Lori's neighbor. She always spoke so highly of him, and shared her baking with him to which he was so appreciative. Seen him many times getting on his scooter, and enjoying his beautiful yard. His yard was always kept in a very pristine condition, as you could tell the pride he had in it. May you rest in peace Herb, and sincere condolences to his family and his neighbors.
