Obituary of Vaila Mae-Ruth Culy

Vaila Culy, of Candle Lake, Sk. died at the Prince Albert Victoria Hospital on January 9, 2024.

Vaila was born in North Battleford, Sk. in 1952 to parents Harold and Julia Geates, living and attending school in the Battleford area until marrying the love of her life Avery in 1970.

Vaila was preceded in death by her father Harold, mother Julia and brother-in-law James Rector. Vaila is survived by her husband Avery Culy, Children Flora Larson (Culy), Kevin Culy and Glenda Trach (Culy). Grandchildren Courtney Burke (Trach), Rachel Trach, Joshua Trach, Seth Trach, Aivry Winter Culy, Aiden Culy, Natasha Billo (Larson), Andrew Larson. Siblings William Geates, Marlene Rector, and Barbara Carley.

Celebration of Life will be held Sunday January 14, 2024, from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the Candle Lake Community Center,  #20 Hwy 265, Candle Lake, SK.
