Obituary of Gerald Joseph Poulin
Gerald Joseph Poulin, 62, of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, passed away on January 15, 2024. He was born on January 13, 1962, in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.
Gerald's love for his family was immeasurable. He shared a special bond with his mother and was grateful for her unwavering love and support throughout his life. Gerald was a devoted and adoring father and grandfather and cherished every moment spent with his sons and grandchildren.
Gerald had a warm heart full of kindness and always brought joy and laughter to those around him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. In his free time, Gerald loved being outdoors. He preferred to spend his time fishing and found solace casting his line, and enjoying the many memories made and remembered when he was with his boys. He took great pride in ensuring he kept the farm in top shape, spending his time riding the tractor, pulling the wagon, cutting grass, tending to the gardens, and feeding the many birds. Gerald also cherished spending time with his beloved grandchildren, creating lasting impressions and sharing his wisdom with and learning from them.
Gerald is survived by his sons, Michael (Alexis) Poulin and Justin (Melissa) Poulin; his grandchildren, Ray, Abby, Josh, Mia, Kayson, and Cru; his mother, Simone Poulin; his sisters, Anita (Cameron) MacDonald and Janine (Dave) Dubyk; his brothers, Louis (Janice) Poulin and Allen Poulin; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews; his lifelong friend Alvin White; and many other loved ones.
Gerald was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Poulin; his brother, Paul Poulin; and his nephew, Mitch Poulin.
Gerald Poulin's passing leaves a void in the lives of his family and friends, but his memory will live on through the love and laughter he shared with those around him. He will be remembered as a kind-hearted individual who brought happiness to everyone he encountered.
