Obituary of Paul Ernest Gaumond

Paul Gaumond, 75, passed away February 12, 2024, in Leoville Sk.  He was born on August 15, 1948, to John and Victorine Gaumond at the Leoville hospital.  Paul got married June 27, 1976, they took over the Gaumond family farm in 1975 where they raised their three girls, Jackee, Jennifer, and Farrah.  Paul loved life on the on the farm, family gatherings, taking care of animals, playing cards, and fishing at the river.  He was an avid history buff and enjoyed watching war and western movies.  Once retired he enjoyed spending time with family and helping his nephews farm. He is survived by his daughter Jackee (Richard) Goudreault of Whitecourt, AB and their family Amber Mercier (Alex Andres) and Owen Andres, Connor (Lexi) Mercier and Chandler Mercier (Jazmine Davis), Jennifer Gaumond (Cole Hopfner) of Lasburn and their family Shayna Hopfner and Raine Hopfner, Farrah Gaumond of Lloyminster, SK, siblings Simone (Albert) Tessier of Moose Jaw, SK, Jeannie Tessier of Weyburn, SK, Leonard (Karen) Gaumond of Prince Albert, SK, Lucille Gaumond of Red Deer, AB and Edna Beuker of Prince Albert, SK and also many nieces, nephews and other relatives.  Paul was predeceased by his parents John and Victorine Gaumond, his brothers O’Neil Gaumond and Edward Gaumond, nephews Kirby Tessier and Shane Gaumond, his niece Jackie Kolonosky, brothers-in-law Don Beuker and Vic Tessier.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday June 1, 2024 – 1:00pm. at Ste. Therese Roman Catholic Church, Leoville, SK.
