Peter and Margaret are the best. I've known Margaret all my life, even though I live a few provinces away in Ontario. My Dad and I would come back to Saskatchewan every few years to visit with the family. In 2004, we had to move my grandma to a new residence in Prince Albert, but the moving company we rented was a no show, Peter helped us rent a truck and do the move with us. It was a cold cold winter day, and I remember the cab of the truck freezing up after the heater fuse blew. Peter managed to keep it going by pulling out fuses from "non-essential" things so we could finish what we had to do. It was crazy...I thought we were going to be spending the day huddled in the cab waiting for a rescue. Crazy!
Later, after I got married and had our first daughter, Eva, Rosie & I came to Prince Albert for a visit in June 2010. I remember touring the incredible log cabin that Peter and Margaret had built and we were impressed with stories on the challenges of construction and things they learned. That is an amazing property...definitely built to withstand some extreme weather.
Margaret, I'm so sorry for your loss! Our thoughts are with you!
Dave, Rosie, Eva, and Anna Adams.
