Obituary of Eric Albert Johnstone

Eric Albert Johnstone, late of Big River First Nation, SK, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, in Vancouver , BC . at the age of 30 years.

Wake Services for Eric will commence on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. from the Big River First Nation Band Hall. The Funeral Service for Wric will take place Thursday, April 25, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. also from the Band Hall. Eric will be laid to rest in the Whitefish Anglican Cemetery.

Eric is lovingly survived by his parents, Dean & Francine Johnstone; his siblings, Kristi (Wally) Johnstone and children Phoenix, Luca, and Avery; Brent Johnstone; Mathew (Chacey) Johnstone; his grandmother, Sara Morin; his aunties, Sheila, Judy, Velma, Lori, Marlene, Darlene, Delphine; his uncles, Herman, Roland, Dennis, Alvin, Barry and Merle; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Eric's special friends, are Summer Morin, Warren & Natasha Whitefish, Isabelle Smallboy, Lawrence Elliott, Shelby Lachance, Jamie Thomas, Helen Oro, Trish Gardipy, Larissa, and Cyrena Clarke. 

Eric is predeceased by, his grandparents, Clifford & Annie Johnstone, and Frank Morin; his aunties, Winona Beaulieu, Florence Knife, and Shirley Johnstone; his uncles, Maurice & Kelly.
