Obituary of Wayne Anthony Linfitt

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Wayne Anthony Linfitt, born June 4, 1957, Birch Hills, SK, announce his passing on June 4, 2024, at Rose Garden Hospice, Prince Albert, SK, on his 67th Birthday.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Audrey; children, Curtis (Jolene) Linfitt and children, Hunter and Kiera, and Amy Linfitt and her daughter, Danika; siblings, Sevella (Gilbert) Joubert, Bill (Mary Jean) Linfitt, Roger (Marilyn) Linfitt, Don (Mardell) Linfitt, Mary Lynn (Chuck) Boettcher; sister-in-law, Dolores Robertson, Arlene Neilson (George Nowakowski), Linda Neilson; brothers-in-law, Charlie Magee, John (Leona) Neilson, Bob (Dianne) Neilson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Wayne is predeceased by his dad, Victor; mom, Evelyn (née McKinnon); stepmother, Eunice (née Penner); brother, Patrick Linfitt; and granddaughter, Ariel Mira Linfitt; mother-in-law, Nora Neilson; brother-in-law, Gary Neilson.

The family would like to thank the Royal University Hospital Cancer Center, Dr. Shahid Ahmed, Dr. Alana Surkan, Prince Albert Home Care, Sask Abilities, Rose Garden Hospice, the Métis Nation Saskatchewan WR2, and Sherry McLennan.
