Obituary of Allan Stanley Granrude

Allan Stanley Granrude was born February 23, 1953, Kinistino, SK and passed away June 5, 2024, North Battleford, SK at 71 years of age.

Allan is lovingly remembered by his siblings: Nancy (Mike) Cadrain of Glaslyn, SK, Cindy (Wayne) Zubiak of Edmonton, AB and Todd (Celeste) McConnell of Glaslyn, SK, his nieces and nephews Deanna (Darrin) Zubiak - Ryder & Natalie of Vermillion, AB, Tara (Dan) Thiessen - Amber & Jordan of Saskatoon, SK, Angie Clifford - Owen, Seth, & Sunny of Vernon, BC, Erin (Ryan) Gobolos - Amelia & Noah of Edmonton, AB, Amie (Tyler) Grant - Aubrie & Declan of Edmonton, AB,           Shaun (Amy) McConnell - Sage of Saskatoon, SK, Chayse (Amanda) McConnell - Haisley of Lloydminster, SK, Draden McConnell of Saskatoon, SK also numerous other relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by his mother: Joyce McConnell, his stepfather: William “Bill” McConnell, his father: Robert “Bob” Granrude and his brother: David Granrude.

A funeral service was held Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 2:00 pm at the Glaslyn Community Hall, Glaslyn, SK with Delores Beaulac officiating.  The eulogy was given by Angie Clifford, Honorary Pallbearers were considered “Everyone who shared in Allan’s life”, Pallbearers were Shaun McConnell, Ryan Gobolos, Chayse McConnell, Dan Thiessen, Draden McConnell and Darrin Zubiak.

Allan’s final resting place is in the Glaslyn Cemetery.

Donations in Allan’s memory may be made to a Charity of the Donor’s Choice.
