I taught Doug junior high at St John Community School. He did indeed like to know how things worked. If correct he was in the crew who took apart a sewing machine the first day of class. Being a rookie to teaching Home Ec I’m glad he knew how to put it back together! Rest easy young man. Miss Packet
I am so sorry for your loss Wes. Doug was well loved by his family and those who were in association with him. I knew Pat well as a former student and great friend. Rest easy young man and I will keep you in my daily prayers. I am available if there is anything that I can do for you and Lisa.
My condolences to the family it's a hard hit Doug and I have known each other since grade school high school is when we really got to know each other he'd be fixing my Ford Pinto maybe not the right way but it worked after that we lived in in different cities but our mid-20s we both ended up back to PA that's when we became a team working from multiple construction companies especially Pineland drywall for many years Doug I'm going to miss you and I'll miss you telling me I'm doing it the wrong way
Several years ago my friends and I arrived at his Mom and Dad's home in our motorhome for a couple of day stop over. If memory serves me correctly he checked the tires, the oil and the exhaust system before he even said hello. ( he informed us we had an exhaust problem). Lol

First off my sincere condolences to Doug’s family. In the old St. John and high school days he was part of our group. Often misunderstood, Doug was the adventurous one for sure! From my time with him; he definitely lived life on his own terms. He will be missed and remembered. Rest easy Doug.
