I knew Vern while I was employed at FCL. He was exactly as described in the online obituary. He was patient and kind, humble, and totally honest yet diplomatic - a rare gift indeed!
Being in an airport with Vern was an eye opener. He knew so many people and at times it seemed they were all in the same airport as Vern.
He made an in valuable contribution to FCL and to the
Co-operative Retailing System.
Those who knew Vern will truly miss him.
My sympathy to you, Sylvia, and to your family.
