Obituary of Marilyn Deschambeault

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Marilyn Deschambeault announce her passing on August 15, 2024.

Marilyn passed away peacefully with both family and close friends by her side.  She was born on June 20th, 1952, in Prince Albert, SK, to Roderick and Irene Sayese.

Marilyn was known to many as a matriarch. Not only to her own family, but to many others. She had the biggest heart, always taking good care of her family and those who needed it the most. Her love was unconditional.  Mom was a hardworking, loving, caring and compassionate lady, both in her personal and in her professional life.  Marilyn was a long term employee with Custom security and worked in various places in the community. You knew you were being well taken care of when Marilyn was in your presence.  She was also a board member and volunteer of Musqua Entertainment Inc. (Voices of the North).

What brought joy to Marilyn was gathering with her family and friends for a good meal. Whether it was a potluck or a meal she provided for everyone. This was her way of keeping family together.

She will be deeply missed by all and will now live forever in our hearts…until we meet again.

Marilyn is survived by her four sons Dale (Lindsay), Amie, Rod and Ernie, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; siblings Dianne (Les) Neufeldt, Linda (Steve) Beddow, Lorna (Rick) Tait, Lawrence Sayese, Joyce Sayese, George (Stephanie) Sayese; sister-in-law Lindy Sayese; uncle Joe Deschambeault; her cousin Peter Umpherville; close friend Sharon Anderson; as well as many nieces and nephews.
