Obituary of Noel Lucien Bolduc
It is with great sadness to share the passing of My dear Papa, great grampa, great-great grampa, Noel Lucien Bolduc. He went to heaven peacefully in his sleep on Thursday morning September 12, 2024. Noel is survived by his loving family; his daughter Therese Portras, and granddaughters Tamara Lutz and great-grandsons Curtis Lutz (Randi), great-great grandchild Owen of Red Deer, AB and Eric Lutz of Calgary, AB and Crystal Sweeting and great-grandsons Brennan and Bodhi of Regina, SK and grandson Dennis Portras of Regina, SK: his daughter-in law Shelley Bolduc and grandchildren Brett Bolduc (Mikaela), great-grandchildren Clara and Felix of Regina, SK and Danielle Bolduc of Humboldt, SK: as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by son George Bolduc, great-grandson Nicholas Portras, wife Armande (nee Fontaine), sister Maria Leduc (nee Bolduc), mother Melina Bolduc (nee Perrault), father Donat Bolduc, niece Mary-Anne Leduc, Noel was born on December 25, 1931, in Prince Albert, SK.
Noel was raised on the family farm except for living in Victoria, BC while working in the mill. He met Armande, who became the love of his life, they got married in Victoria BC and soon after moved to a little homestead in the Henribourg area. Noel was a very hard-working man; farming was his life. He built Armande her “Dream Home” and he continued to live there till he was 92 years old. On August 4, 2001, he and Armande celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary with his family and friends. He enjoyed working in the yard all day and helping his friends. He was a very social man and liked when people came by for a visit. Many times, he was seen driving his side by side in the community while stopping along the way for a chat, and maybe coffee or tea. Noel, you will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered, by your family and friends who loved you.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at the St. James Parish, Albertville, SK, with Fr. DJ Vu celebrating. Interment will follow in the Albertville Roman Catholic Cemetery.
