Obituary of Teresa Catherine Clouthier

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Teresa Catherine Clouthier, a cherished resident of Marcelin, Saskatchewan, on October 28, 2024, at the age of 87. Born on November 18, 1936, to Catherine (Kayfish) and Charles Bauer on the family farm near Blaine Lake.

On May 9, 1955, she married Maurice Clouthier, and together they built a life centered on love, resilience, and hard work. As they raised eight children, Teresa became known for her remarkable cooking skills, providing countless meals not only for her own family but also for friends and neighbors. Her talent and generosity earned her a well-deserved reputation as an incredible cook.

Teresa’s pride was her spotless home and beautifully tended garden, where she found peace and purpose.  A woman of deep faith, she was a devoted member of the Catholic Women’s League for 39 years, dedicating herself to service and the values she held dear.  Known for her willingness to help those in need, she cherished the lasting friendships she built within her community and brought warmth and care to all who knew her.

Teresa’s legacy of kindness, faith, and dedication to her family and friends will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. She leaves behind a loving family, a wealth of cherished memories, and a community grateful for her presence.

Teresa is lovingly remembered and will be forever cherished by; Gabe (Sylvia)and family Jodie(Arlee), Jamie(Josh) and Crystal.  Linda (Shane), Lalonde and family Jade (Craig)and Ryan (Carrie).  Lyle (Anne) and family Dena (Joel) and Mitchell.  Glen (Shari) and family Kristina (Jeremy), Ashley (Robin) and Shawn (Shelley)(Alex).  Randy (Karen) and family Chelsea (Ryan), Hayley (Justin) and Logan.  Darrel and family Jessica, Stephanie and Miranda.  Wade (Judy) and family Dylan (Kara), Dalton (Alanna), Morgan and Lauren.  Russel Neurauter and family Fallon and Brittany (Marshall).   22 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.  Her sisters Jean Johnston, Julia Simon and Beatrice.  Her brothers Walter, Norman (Regina) and Raymond.  Numerous relatives, nieces, nephews and all those who loved Teresa and shared in her life.  

Teresa was predeceased by her husband Maurice, her parents Catherine (Kayfish) and Charlie Bauer.  Her daughter Sandra Neurauter.   Her siblings Marcel (Cathy), Edward, Joseph and Ronald.

Her in-laws: Tom Johnson, Steve Simon and Terry Bauer.   Joe (Lauretta), Clouthier, Gabe, Leo (Marie), Jerry, Edward, George, Andy, Jeanne (Raymond), Cecile(Norm), Stella and Terry(Bob).  Her great grandchildren Emmett and Garnett. 

 A funeral service to celebrate Teresa’s life will be held on November 9th, 2024, at 10:30 am at St. Joseph’s Parish in Marcelin.
