Obituary of Paul Mazurek
Paul was raised in the Krydor area and attended Uhryow school south of the homestead. Growing up he helped with the chores on the farm with his family. When he left school he went with friends to the Ontario area and worked on a tobacco farm. Upon returning to Saskatchewan he worked at various jobs such as, working at CFQC in the parts department, he had a partnership at a second hand store, and drove Radio Cab taxi for about 14 years in Saskatoon which allowed him to own three taxi's of his own. Upon his retirement from driving taxi he returned to Krydor to become involved with farming again. In the late 70's he decided to move to Iroquois Lake and enjoyed his many interests such as, camping, fishing, hunting, playing the banjo, and the company of many friends. Paul will be missed dearly by all who knew him. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Our Lady of Smiles Roman Catholic Church in Shell Lake, SK. at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 2, 2010 with Father Francis Agbezuge as celebrant. Memorial donations in memory of Paul may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Interment will take place at a later date.
