Obituary of Henry Chaykowski

Chaykowski; Mr. Henry Chaykowski, of Mildred, Sask. passed away Oct. 15, 2010 in Shellbrook, at the age of 71 years. Henry will be lovingly remembered by: His wife of 50 years Fern Chaykowski of Mildred, SK., His children: Keith (Debbie) Howard & their children: Bree (Gord) & Deanna (Chris), Bruce Chaykowski & his children: Ryan (Cheryl) & their children Michael & Jeremy, Donnie (Amy) & their daughter Emercyn Lisa, Brenda (William) Brown & her children: Jennifer, Terry (Tina) & son Cameron, Amanda, Valerie Pawliw (Bernie) & her children: Kyle (Randi) & their children Payton, Hallie & Brook Lynn, Dawn Marie (Qumara) Thomas; Kathy (Dave) Lange & her children: Lance (Allisha), Keith & his son Sullivan, Brandon, Alecia (Sean) & daughter Katelyn; Linda's children: Troy & his daughter Madison, Kent (Crystal) & children Auston, Haley, Keegan, Bruce Campbell; Chris Chaykowski & his daughter Shayla. A special niece Judy Mayo. His brothers & sisters & their families. Numerous nieces, nephews, & friends He was predeceased by: His daughter Linda Campbell in 1995 His daughter Coreen Skarpinsky in 2002 Henry was born April 19, 1939 in the Mildred District. He attended school, did like most young men of the day, and went out to work at a younger age. He married Fern Howard, together they raised their children. Henry was a hard worker, and had a good work ethic, in spite of his health issues. He took care of his eight children and his wife. They always had all they needed. He was strong willed and determined. Through all, he never smiled much, but lit up the room when he did. The bond between parents became stronger after the loss of their two daughters. They were inseparable, and never went too far without one or the other. Henry had a passion for gardening, the bigger the better. All of his life's accomplishments will be remembered and truly cherished. The funeral service was held October 20, 2010 from the Spiritwood Civic Center with Delores Beaulac as officiant. Eulogists were Elmer Lamadee and Judy Mayo. The soloist was Elmer Lamadee. Henry's pallbearers were his grandson's Bruce Campbell, Kyle Pawliw, Keith Pauls, Troy Campbell, Kent Campbell and Ryan Chaykowski. Donations in memory of Henry may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. Interment took place in the Mildred North Cemetery. Beau"Lac" Funeral Home of Spiritwood were entrusted with the funeral arrangements E-mail condolences will be forwarded to the family
