Obituary of Margaret Sanderson

Sanderson Sanderson, Margaret: Margaret Sanderson passed away January 6, 2011 at the age of 87 years. Margaret will be lovingly remembered by: Her children: Judith (Sheldon) Andrews, John (Dawn McNeil) Sanderson, Roderick Sanderson; Her grandchildren: Hamish Sanderson (Kathy Meyer), Shea Sanderson (Vanessa Arter), Margaret Andrews (Kevin Kilpatrick), Patricia Andrews (Joe Mota), Her great grandchildren: Jesse Andrews-Kilpatrick (Craig Berg), Rory Andrews-Kilpatrick, Patrick Kilpatrick, Brian Kilpatrick, Annika Sanderson, Her great great grandson Kaleb Berg, Numerous other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by: Her husband Douglas Sanderson in 1984, Her father Henry McDaid, Her mother Margaret McDaid, Her sister Nancy (Rollo Pugh) McDaid, Her brother John (Jean) McDaid, Her brother James (Phyllis) McDaid Margaret was born April 6, 1923 in Wynyard, Sk, moving to the Penn district in 1932. She is remembered by her family and friends as someone who loved life to the fullest. Her gentle, kind nature came through in all she did, whether it was feeding the birds, supporting the seniors club, assisting with Wellness clinic in Chitek Lake or spending precious time with her family and grandchildren. The family would like to thank the Home Care staff who assisted keeping Margaret home as long as possible, the staff at the Evergreen Health Centre for their care the last 4 months of Margaret's life and everyone who assisted with the memorial service and lunch. A celebration of Margaret's life was held January 12, 2011 from the Chitek Lake Community Hall with Delores Beaulac officiating. Bill Martodam was the soloist and Dave Hjertaas the Piper. Interment of her cremated remains will take place in the Penn Cemetery at a later date.
