Obituary of Donald James Gardiner

It is with heartfelt sadness that the family of Donald James Gardiner announce his passing on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 in Prince Albert, at the age of 79 years. As for the families wishes there was a private family graveside service held for Don on May 3, 2011 in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Rev. Brian Maitland was the officiant, Dave Hjertaas accompanied by Susan Maitland performed a special musical tribute. One of Don's grandaughters, Jo'Lene Everest did a poem reading and urn bearers were the eldest grandson Rick Smart and the youngest great grandson Caleb Smart. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Don to the Canadian Lung Association (1750 Courtwood Cres., Suite 300, Ottawa, ON K2C 2B5).
