Obituary of Maxine Jean Christiansen

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Maxine on June 22, 2011. Maxine will be sadly missed by her fiance Kelly Green of Melfort, Sk.; her children Jonathon Jonasson, Jordan Tobey and Ashley Tobey of Prince Albert, Sk.; her Step-children Kole and Caelyn Green of Melfort, Sk.; her parents Lorraine and Gordon Christiansen of Big River, Sk.; a brother Dean (Tamara) Christiansen and children Erika, Brayden, and Josh of Big RIver, Sk.; a sister Gaytan (Ryan) Pister and children Cody, James, and Megan of Big River, Sk.; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Maxine was predeceased by her grandparents Howard and Margaret Swanson and Chris and Josephine Christiansen, an aunt Eloise Christiansen, and an uncle Norman Swanson. Interment took place at noon at the Big River Cemetery, and a Celebration of her life took place at the Big River Community Hall at 2:00pm Saturday, June 25, 2011. A Trust Fund has been set up for her children at the CIBC in Big River, Sk. Email condolences will be forwarded to the family.
