Obituary of Michael Harry Cisecki

All the saints in heaven embraced and welcomed Mike on April 15, 2012. Born on the farm by Leoville, on August 5, 1951, Mike was the second son of Anna and Harry Cisecki. He was bright eyed, full of pep and vigor, and always ready for mischief and fun. From an early age Mike was mechanically inclined. Mike went to grade school in a one room building not far from his home, where recess consisted of shooting gophers with the teacher. After Mike graduated from Blaine Lake high school, he went to work in BC for McMillian Bloedel. Mike acquired courses and knowledge in agricultural mechanics. Michael was very brilliant and like a sponge, he absorbed whatever he found interesting or a challenge. Mike was offered an international position with CIDA, in Tanzania. During the two years there he trained locals in the repairs of their machinery. Mike loved life, travelling, camping, and the pleasures that abounded his life. Mike also very much loved fishing and dancing. Whenever music played he would be the first to be up dancing with his favorite dance partner- his special love- his wife Linda. Dance they did, every chance they had, they were in tune and in sync with their lives and always with and for each other. Playing guitar was a favorite past time, with John Denver as one of his idol's, Mike became very proficient at playing and singing county Road, this song suits Mike's beautiful soul. Mike had a powerful, formidable personality; he was never just the mediocre face in the crowd. Mike cared and loved everyone. He was always right, made powerful choices that he stuck by, helped others no matter the need. If you needed a hand or a friend, Mike was there. Mike and Linda's lives first intertwined on Vancouver Island, they lived and loved for the next thirty five years, through many moves, making many everlasting friends and memories along the way. Mike was so very, very proud of his family, and when you heard his stern Dad voice; he was saying "I only want the best for you and because I love you, do it right". The love, the kindness, the memories will live on forever in the hearts and souls of: His loving wife of 35 years, Linda, his children: Ted (Anita) Cisecki and daughter, Jayna; Tammy Cisecki; Corinne (Jamie) Thibodeau and sons, Christian and Trenton; Carolyn (Kevin) Doryk and children, Joshua and Payton; Darren (Shelley) Schwarz and daughters, Karisa and Raelyn; Dan (Laura) Schwarz and children, Pamela and Christopher.
