Obituary of Brent Turgeon

It is with deep sorrow that the family of Brent Turgeon announce his sudden passing on May 30th, 2012 at the age of 50. September 18, 1961- March 30, 2012 Brent was born in Spiritwood, to Wilfred and Shirley Turgeon, one of nine children. He passed away while at work in Fort St John, BC at the young age of 50. Brent was a great Fiance, father, friend, and man all around to everyone. Brent married his best friend Maryann Trach in 1998; three years later they had their first son Jesse in December 1991. Hailey was then born six and a half years later in June 1998. Tragically six years after that Maryann lost her courageous battle with cancer leaving just Brent and the kids. Brent did everything for those two kids and loved everything about them. In 2005 Brent was lucky enough to find love again with Marli and her daughter Kennedy. In 2007 Brent asked her to marry him and she said yes. It was a year later that their son Jacob was born in September 2008. From then on Brent always seemed very happy and content with his life and lived it to the fullest. Brent leaves to cherish his memory his loving fiance Marli Booth of Lloydminster, SK Their wonderful children Jesse Turgeon, Hailey Turgeon, Kennedy Walter & Jacob Turgeon, his Parents: Wilfrid & Shirley Turgeon of Spiritwood, SK, his Brothers & Sisters: Genevieve (George) Cockburn of Fernie, BC, Colleen (Paul) Ouelette of North Battleford, SK, Maurice (Adele) Turgeon of Spiritwood, SK, Bernie (Edwina) Turgeon of Lloydminster, SK, Terry (Carol) Turgeon of Lloydminster, AB, Claude (Bev) Turgeon of Martensville, SK, Stan (Corrine) Turgeon of Lloydminster, SK, Sylvia Turgeon of Port Moody, BC and numerous nieces & nephews. Brent was predeceased by his first wife Maryann (nee:Trach) in 2004. The funeral service was held on Thursday, June 7th, 2012 at 2:00 pm from the Southridge Community Church, 5701 - 41st Street, Lloydminster, AB. Interment was held on Friday, June 8th, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Laventure Cemetery, Laventure, SK. Email condolences will be forwarded to the family.
