Obituary of Isabell Cadieu
Leaving precious memories to many Isabell left us and joined her husband Albert on July 19, 2012. Isabell passed away peacefully at the Idylwild Lodge in Spiritwood, where she has been a resident for the past three years. Isabell, was born in the Radisson / Hafford area on March 16, 1914 to James Jr Nesbitt and Sarah Anne (Avery) Nesbitt. The family eventually settled in the Mildred area. Isabell married Albert (Bert) Cadieu in 1932 and they lived in the North Creek Area building up their farm until 1948 when the farm was sold and they were involved in road construction as well as building up their farm west of Spiritwood where they moved to in 1959. Bert has been elected an M.P. in 1958, so Bell (as she was mostly known) continued on the farm. Isabell leaves to cherish her memories: Her children: Kathleen (James) Materie of Spiritwood, SK, "Les" (Vera) Cadieu of Spiritwood, SK, Grant (Bonnie) Cadieu of Spiritwood, SK. Bell also leaves to cherish her memories her Grandchildren: Garth (Roberta Rudd) Materie of Saskatoon, SK; Patti-Jo Materie of Saskatoon, SK and children, Sabrina and Jesse; Gloria (Mark) Yusishen of Toronto, ON and children, Monica, Graham, Roman and Peter; Brenda (Brent) Tipton of Spiritwood, SK and their sons, Travis and his daughter Peyton, and Jarret; Melody Cadieu (Dennis Harasym) of Spiritiwood, SK and children, Kristin, Justin, Rebecca and Dalton; Raylene (Ashley) Brown of Ottowa, ON and children, Anik & Ty; Erin Cadieu (Terry Dyck) of Saskatoon, SK; Cindy (Wayne) Hoffert of Airdrie, AB and children, Nicholes & Danica; Kendra Cadieu of Saskatoon, SK, along with numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. She is predeceased by: Her loving husband, Bert in 1990, her parents, Sarah Anne (nee: Avery) and James Nesbitt, her siblings, James Nesbitt, John Nesbitt, Willie Nesbitt in England, Dick (Louise nee: Valgarson) Nesbitt, Edith (Raymond) Lalonde, Dave (Maxine nee: Gorhan) Nesbitt, Evelyn (Ted) Sommerfeld, Florence (Ed) Lastowski and Sarah Anne (Frank) DeFrancisco. Funeral Service for Bell was held Tuesday, July 24th, 2012 ~ 1:00 pm from the Spiritwood Civic Center in Spiritwood, SK. With Rev. Doug Miner as the Officiant. Bell's only grandson, Garth Materie gave the eulogy. Pallbearers were all of Bell's Granddaughters. Special music was performed by Barb Szasz, Shelley Tipton, and Phil Marion. Bell's Final Resting Place is beside her husband in the Spiritwood Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made in Bell's name to the Idylwild Lodge or Choice of the Donor.
