Obituary of Vivian Beebe

It is with deep sorrow that the family of the late Vivian Beebe wish to announce her passing on 15th day of March 2013 at the age of 81 years. Vivian was born in Shellbrook on Sept. 29, 1931 to Frank and Tina Anderson. She was the tenth child of twelve. Vivian was raised in the Spiritwood area, then moving to Gods Country- Timberlost, also known as The Block. Vivian had many fond memories of her youth and loved the ball games, her teachers and the many dances they all went to. On December 31st, 1952 Vivian married Clarence Beebe in the little Anglican Church in Big River and the new Beebe family adventures began. They stayed in the Block for five years and had their child Pearl, before moving to the Green Mantel District, where their home is today. Adding three more children to their family; Rose, Rusty and Holly as well they opened their home to many others. Vivian lived life to the fullest, with energy and vigor, she was an inspiration to her family and friends to so the same. Vivian volunteered on the Sask Housing Board and the hospital Auxiliary. Enjoying fishing, golfing, bowling, gardening, cooking, working with her husband, scrapbooking, and her truest passion in life was her family, her Clarence, her children, grandchildren great grandchildren and all the relatives and friends in her world. She will be forever remembered for many things; her preserves, her cooking, her legendary popcorn cake with jujubes, wild strawberry fruit on Christmas morning, her many adventures with her children and grandchildren, and her love. She leaves a legacy of memories and honor with all who knew and loved her. She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband of 60 years, Clarence, her children:~ Pearl (Lloyd) Carter of Big River, SK ~ Rose Henri of Big River, SK ~ Russell (Pat) Beebe of Big River, SK ~ Holly (Buster) Reimer of Big River, SK 17 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren, her brother, Dennis Anderson of Big River, SK, her sister, Myrtle Caharel of Valleyview, AB, her brother-in-law, Art Hodgson of Prince Albert, SK as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. She is predeceased by: an infant son, Buddy in 1953, a great granddaughter, Chantel Reimer in 2001, a grandson-in-law, Kent Wilson in 2001, a great granddaughter, Emma Osinchuk in 2003, a great grandson, Kaiden Lalonde in 2003. Funeral Service was held in Vivian’s honor on Wednesday, March 20th, 2013 ~ 2:00 pm from the Big River Community Hall. Officiant was Rev. Ken Easterbrook. Memorial Donations may be made to the Lakewood Lodge Auxiliary in memory of Vivian. Email condolences will be forwarded to the family.
