Obituary of Eliza Hanna Masuskapoe

It is with deep sadness that the family of Eliza Masuskapoe announce that she passed away peacefully on Friday, March 22, 2013 in Whispering Pine Place Nursing Home of Canwood, SK. at the age of 83 years. Eliza was born on January 15, 1930 in Prince Albert, SK. to Thomas and Paulie McBride. The Wake services will commence on Saturday, March 23, 2013 in the Ahtahkakoop First Nation Band Hall at 1:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 25, 2013 in the Ahtahkakoop First Nation Band Hall at Noon with Rev Rick and Ruth Martin as officiants. Eliza is survived by her children Stan (Nancy) Masuskapoe, Freda (Greg) Ahenakew, Rema Masuskapoe, Ray (Vivian) Masuskapoe, Irene Masuskapoe, Wilna Masuskapoe, Linda Masuskapoe, Wilson Masuskapoe, Marilyn Masuskapoe, Roy Bluehorn, Leslie Genereaux, Mervin Masuskapoe. Her sisters Irene Sanderson, Alice Yayahkeekoot, Mary Bird. Eliza was predeceased by her husband Malcolm Masuskapoe.l The Interment will be in St. Mark's Anglican Cemetery. Beau"Lac" Funeral Home was entrusted with the funeral arrangnements.
