Thank you for the beautifully written account of Ernie's life. I found it very interesting. I remember when he first came to Big River. I was probably about eight or ten years old but even then I thought of him as a quiet and shy person. Many years later when my Mom moved to The Lodge I had him doing her yardwork and got to know him much better. I'm happy that I did.
