Obituary of Alera Unique Keenatch

On Thursday, June 6, 2013 Shantel Weiss & Peyisiw Keenatch lost their dear angel Alera Unique Keenatch, to go be with the Lord. Alera passed away in the Stollery Childrens Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta with her family at her side. The Wake Service for Alera commenced on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. from the Big River First Nation Band Hall, and the Funeral Service took place on Monday, June 10, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. from the Band Hall. The Elders officiated, and interment took place in the Cemetery by the River on Big River First Nation. Alera is lovingly survived by: Her Parents Shantel Weiss & Peyisiw Keenatch; Her brother Diaz Keenatch; Her grandparents:Marlene & Clifford Rabbitskin; Vera & Sheldon Sutherland; Quenton & Elaine Johnson; Her Great Grandparents: Sophie & Thomas Rainey; Sydney Ironbow; Lillian Assoon; Caroline Sutherland; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives. Alera is predeceased by: Her Great Grandmother Amy Rabbitskin; Her Great Grandfathers David Assoon & John Sutherland; and her Cousin Chad Thomas.
