I heard this morning from relatives in BC that Edna had passed. I am so sorry - I did enjoy visiting with her when I passed through Shellbrook. She had moved from the personal care home the last time I was there and I didn't have time to search her out - I am sorry now that I did not make the time. She and I often talked on the phone on Feb 8 - her birthday and mine. I should let you know how I knew her. Gordon and my mother Velma Jewitt Palm were cousins. My dad was Fred Palm. My aunt Naomi Jewitt Cowherd is still living in Carrot River and I will be letting her know of Edna's passing today. Once again I am so sorry - I did enjoy visiting with her.
