Obituary of Reginald "Reg" Carl Cross

Reginald Carl Cross October 21, 1951 - Sunday, September 15, 2013 Reg passed away peacefully with his family on Sunday, September 15, 2013 in Saskatoon. Reg was the son of William and Georgina Cross of Spiritwood and is survived by his loving wife Linda. Reg and Linda were married for 40 years as of December 2, 1972. They have two children, Brett (Stephanie) of Warman and Troy (Kevin) of Saskatoon. Reg had 3 grandchildren Reese, Samantha and Oscar; all of Brett and Stephanie's family. He is survived by his siblings and parents. He was uncle and great uncle to numerous nieces and nephews who he entertained with his yearly Christmas light shows and camping trips. Reg loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, snowmobiling, quadding and rodeo. His brothers will tell everyone that the earth stood still on the weekends as Reg and Linda loaded up the camper to follow one of his great loves, the chuck wagon circuit. Reg's family would like to thank the staff of Samaritan's Place in Saskatoon for their compassionate care and support during his lengthy battle with cancer. Linda and the boys would also like to thank HJR Asphalt and the joint owner's, who were Reg's long-time employers, for their understanding and financial support during his illness. The family celebrated, and shared in remembrance, Reg's life at 10 am Sunday, September 22, 2013 at Spiritwood Civic Center.
