Obituary of Mervin Walter Seesequasis

Surrounded by his family Merv Seesequasis passed away in Prince Albert on September 15th, 2013 at the age of 75 years. Merv will be lovingly remembered by his wife Arlene; son Darren (Danica) and his children Alexander and Raquel (their Mother Deborah); his daughter Carmen (Don) Tipton and their children Thomas (T. J) and Samuel; his sisters Mary (Dennis) Ogresko, Irene Tootoosis and Linda Gamble; uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and countless friends. Merv is predeceased by his parents Samuel and Mary Rose (Naytowhow); Grandparents Joseph and Mary Ann Seesequasis, Solomon and Elise Naytowhow; infant brothers Charles and Roger; brothers George and Dave; Sister Ruth and brothers in law Max and Gordon. Merv will be remembered as a kind, caring, hardworking man with a special sense of humor and a dedication to his family, friends and community and above all his infectious smile. Merv had a love of the outdoors and countless hours were spent at the cabin at Chitek Lake with family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial for Merv was held on Tuesday, October 15th from the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Spiritwood, SK. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers can be made in Merv’s honor to the Lung Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
