My sincere condolences to the family on the passing of Mrs. Turgeon. I was saddened to read of her passing in the Saskatoon Star Phoenix.
I took French classes from Mrs. Turgeon in my junior high school years at Spiritwood High School in the mid 1980's. Mrs. Turgeon was a good teacher and a kind person. Even though she was strict (which was good), she was always fair. I recall a couple of occassions when she was marking exams and had inadvertantly marked an answer as correct, when it was actually the incorrect answer. When the student brought it to her attention, she would say "one mark for honesty!" and would appropriately give the student credit for the correct answer. She helped instill values of discipline and honesty in her students.
Regards,
Clint Weiland

I'm so sorry about your Mom's passing. She was such a good hearted person and a fantastic teacher. Very dedicated. I went to see her on a few occasions when I started teaching French. She gave me alot of advice and I used many of the songs and activities. I always liked talking to her when I'd visit my Mom. We never ran out of things to discuss.
My sincerest condolences. I've been thinking about you all.

Remove, Hubert, Don & Greg & Families,
Carolyn and I are currently out of the country but want to send our heartfelt sympathy to you all Aunty Bernice was a lovely person and she will be missed very much. We always enjoyed spending time with her and sharing a few laughs, she always had such a bright smile when greeting us. She was a wonderful math teacher when I was in school and I know she made a difference in my life. Carolyn always enjoyed seeing her at the bingo hall and often sat with her and Bobbi when we lived in Spiritwood. We wish we could be with you to celebrate your mother's life but please know you are all in our hearts and our thoughts and in our prayers we love you all.
