Dear Ione and family:
It is with profound sadness that I read of Joe's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all It was a privilege to work with Joe at Natonum and to know him as a friend. Joe was a gentleman in every way! He was a great educator, a kind and caring person, and someone who loved his family deeply. I recall with joy many wonderful memories, especially those where Joe and you included us in your family and cultural events. Rest well my friend!
