Obituary of Frederick Robert Taylor

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Fredrick Robert Taylor on June 6, 2018 in Prince Albert, SK, at the age of 66. Fred was born July 24, 1951 in Kinistino, SK, to Melville “Buster” and Winnifred Taylor. He grew up and attended school in Kinistino. After graduation, he worked in the North as a pilot for several years. After this, he began his career in maintenance, spending the next 34 years with P.A. Housing Authority. On February 26, 1999 Fred married Gail and they enjoyed over 19 years of marriage. They retired together in 2016. Over the last two years, Fred and Gail enjoyed golfing, gardening, relaxing and travelling across Canada. Fred touched many lives with his kindness, generosity and loving nature. Fred will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Linda “Gail”, stepson Keon (Sharon), step daughter Krystal (Tj), mother, Winnie, brother, Harvey (Dorothy), father in law and mother in law, Willie and Opal, brothers and sisters in law, Lloyd (Linda) and Rodney (Francine). Uncle Gary, a very special Aunt Lil, and all the extended family and friends whose lives he has touched. He was predeceased by his father, Buster in 1994 as well as numerous Aunts and Uncles. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, June 12th, 2018 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 1796 15th Ave East, Prince Albert, SK. Memorial donations in Fred’s memory may be directed to the SPCA Box 1832 Prince Albert, SK S6V 6J9.
