Obituary of Doris Francis Marquis

Doris Francis Marquis Doris Francis Marquis (nee: Pevach) was born on May 14, 1939 at home in the Churnside District in the RM of Leask and passed away at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon, SK, on January 21, 2020. Doris is lovingly survived by her loving husband of 61 years Philip, her five children; Darlene (Marcel) and their children Luanne (Greg Coulter), Daniel (Kyra), Michael (Heather); Deborah and her children Courtney (Steve), Braden (Randi), Chelsey (Jeff); Greg (Dyane) and his children Tyler (Ray-lynn) and Andrew; Daren (Donna) and their children Alyssa and Brendan (Ashley); Karen (Jackie). She is also survived by her siblings Florence Lesmeister, Theresa (Eldon) Lanes, Loretta Hawthorne, Elaine (Lenard) Martin, Dennis (Leanne) Pevach, and a sister-in-law Darlene Pevach, brother-in-law George Marquis, and 11 great-grandchildren and one arriving in May. Doris is predeceased by her parents, Steve and Molly; her brothers Jack, and Donny; sister-in-law Leona; and son-in-law Gerry; as well as her godchild Kimberly. Doris was a wonderful mother and friend to all who knew her. She will be sadly missed by all of those who she has touched. Special thanks to all the nursing staff at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon. We would also like to thank the staff at Borden Care Home for the wonderful care Doris received while in their care. The Funeral Service for Doris will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, January 24, 2020, at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Marcelin, SK.
