What can I offer at such a tragic moment? It is shocking that the youngest of "the cousins" should depart first. I now feel especially lucky to have sat next to Lindsay at the family coffee & cake get-together last Christmas at Smitty's. We shared a few laughs as he (and Tracy) described a wild and woolly beard he'd recently shaved off. Sounded like a wise decision.
My earliest memory of Lindsay goes back to when he was a bratty little six or seven year-old cousin roaring around the house at the Farm. A brand new show called "The Incredible Hulk" had arrived on TV and Lindsay LOVED it. He was the Hulk! He kept trying to pick up the ottoman in Grandma's living room to throw it. Luckily, he wasn't *quite* strong enough to do this.
The 14 year age difference likely didn't help in keeping in touch with each other, but we did share some Facebook connections and "Likes" for the last year or thereabouts.
