Even thou I didn't live with Dad, distance kept us apart, Dad in Prince Albert, and I in Saskatoon, Dad had a special place in my heart. I am the biological daughter. Dad also had 4 grandkids and 7 great grandkids, that were missed from the Obituary.

Belinda and family: My condolences for your loss. I knew Garnet from working downtown and seeing him around when he was working for STC. He always had a friendly greeting and his great smile. Take comfort from all the wonderful memories he left you.

In my early years I literally grew up with cousin Winky. During the summers I often spent weeks living with he and his parents at their home in Red Deer Hill and later he lived with me and my parents in Prince Albert. We worked at Scott National together, and played hockey and softball together over the years. I left home to pursue schooling and a career outside of Saskatchewan and over time we lost contact but I followed Winky’s very successful career and life from afar. He was always the hardest working, kindest and most caring person you would ever care to meet. My sincere condolences to Belinda and members of his family – I know he will be missed very much.
