I am sorry to learn of Terry's passing. His honesty and level-headedness as the service manager at Arcade was something that I relied on as a customer. He worked hard to make Arcade a place of honour. Questions that I or others had were dealt with seriously and we never felt belittled for asking them. He was surely missed after he retired. In talking to him after he did retire, I knew that he was at work to make life around him also a place of honour whether it was flood control with dynamite or whatever else he took to.
You his family are in our prayers at this time.

So sorry to the whole family of Mr. Acorn. Terry was one of my first bosses when I was working for Lakeland/Arcade. He was a very quiet man who had a smerk of mischief. He was a very good man to work for, extremely fair, and always treated me fantastic. When he retired from Lakeland, he would come back for service work and always asked for me to do his oil changes. He would always come in the back, and stop to see how I was doing. I tried to model how he was to me when I became a service manager later on in life. I’ll miss ya boss.

Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family .
Terry was so kind and thoughtful, and always asked about my dad, as they had met years before.
Loved the way he treated customers at Arcade Motors/Lakeland Ford and enjoyed visits with him when he worked there.
He called after reading that my dad passed away and his words meant so much. What a special man !
May your many memories of Terry help you through this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Debbi Hydamacka

Warren and I are still on shock and so deeply saddened when we heard the news of Terry's sudden passing. His kindness and thoughtfulness to both of us as well as dad never went un noticed. He was truly a very special man in our lives. We hope happier memories soon begin to comfort the heartache that you are all feeling right now. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you!
